Foodbowl Unlimited Forum

The Foodbowl Group’s over-arching mission is one of regional renewal. The irrigation modernisation project is a means to that end and, of itself, begs the question: what do we need a world-competitive irrigation system for? 

The Group believes it is critically important to inform the proposed regional development authority with a vision for the region and a set of strategies developed with the involvement of the entire regional community. 

The rationale for a world-competitive irrigation system is changing – slowly, perhaps, but inexorably as world demographic trends, climate change, food prices and customer requirements all change, along with available technologies.
