Ross McPherson

Ross McPherson is joint managing director of the McPherson Media Group, an independent, family-owned business which has published The Shepparton News since 1888. The group also publishes a dozen other newspapers in the Goulburn Valley and Southern Riverina, together with several commercial printing operations and a regional internet and telco business.
A lawyer before he joined his family company, Ross is immediate past president of the International Newspaper Marketing Association, a director of the Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers’ Association and a former director of SPC Ardmona Limited. Among many regional involvements, he chairs the Goulburn Valley Base Hospital Foundation and is co-convenor of the Foodbowl Group.
