Garry Smith

Garry Smith is Goulburn-Murray Water’s Manager for Strategy & Stakeholder Affairs. He has an Honours degree in Civil Engineering and has some twnety eight years of experience in the water industry, with Goulburn-Murray Water and its predecessor organisations.
In his present role as Manager for Strategy & Stakeholder Affairs, Garry Smith is responsible for the development of corporate strategic directions and programs and for strategic business development activities, including water trading and water reform. Garry Smith’s previous experience includes management of a major water supply business division, plus a wide range of activities associated with the delivery of rural water services including water resource planning and assessment, bulk water supply operations, and development and delivery of integrated natural resource management programs.
