Colin Rees

Colin Rees Colin is the son of Betty and Jack Rees who were the founders of the first Taxi Truck Company in Melbourne in 1954, South Suburban Taxi Trucks.
Colin Rees started working in the dairying industry as a Herd Tester and ventured across to New Zealand to further his experience in agriculture when the untimely death of his father saw him return to Australia to join the family Transport business.
Colin Rees founded CRT Group in 1980. His vision was to build a customer focused packaging and distribution business for the plastics industry. Twenty five years later, CRT is well established as the key provider to the plastics industry.
With the sale of CRT in 2005, Colin Rees is currently a part owner in the Mangalore Airport and still pursues his Intermodal interests through the ongoing development of the Cargosprinter shuttle train.
He has recently been made a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
