Carole L Brookins

Carole L Brookins is the former US Executive Director on the World Bank and an international consultant; she is widely recognized for her expertise on the global political economy and its effect on agricultural and food markets.
Ms Brookins founded World Perspectives, a Washington-based consultancy providing strategic analysis and advice to international commodity, financial and government clients. She served on the US national committee for Pacific Economic Co-operation (PECC) and co-chaired a joint APEC-PECC project on regional integration of sustainable economies. She currently serves on advisory boards for the Chicago Climate Exchange and Rabobank in North America; she also served on the World Agricultural Forum advisory board.
Ms Brookins regularly delivers keynote addresses to audiences around the world on international trade, agricultural, economic and political issues.
