Bill Young

Dr Bill Young is the Project Manager for the CSIRO Murray-Darling Basin Sustainable Yields Project that arose from the Prime Minister’s Summit on the Southern Murray-Darling Basin held in November 2006. The project involves CSIRO, State and Commonwealth government agencies and leading consulting companies, in assessments of current and future water availability across the entire Basin.
Dr Young also leads the Biophysical Processes Program of eWater CRC and is a member of the Scientific Reference Panel for the MDBC Living Murray program. During 2003 to 2006, Dr Young was based at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm, working in science communication and liaison for the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme.
